| Edith Steyer : amplified clarinet, objects, analogue electronic devices This music was recorded live and open air at the series Music For The Cosmos, curated by Alexander Marquvardt at Petersburg Art Space Berlin, 8/2024. In my solost project i am working with the amplified clarinet, a pickup, that is drilled in the clarinet barrel, different objects and analogue electronics, like pedals. Everything that happens, is built on the spot, so that the listener can follow each step of the compositional architecture. Moreover the set-up gives me the chance to interact with myself through the electronic devices. I really enjoy to create textures and sound fields in Echtzeit, always embracing the surprising moment, when i nearly lose control and really start to improvise with the sounds around me. |

It is a space where diverse styles and approaches to sound and music can meet, merge, diverge, integrate, collaborate, collide, transmute. At Untergrün the acoustic realm is a zone that allows practitioners and audiences alike to experience the transformative possibilities inherent in shared sonic experiences. This will open up fresh perspectives on contemporary sonic aesthetics.

Untergrün ist eine Konzertreihe, die performancebasierte Klangkunst in all ihren Formen präsentiert. Es ist ein Raum, in dem verschiedene Stile und Ansätze von Klang und Musik aufeinander treffen, verschmelzen, auseinandergehen, sich integrieren, zusammenarbeiten, kollidieren, sich umwandeln. In Untergrün ist der akustische Bereich eine Zone, in der Ausübende und Publikum gleichermaßen die transformativen Möglichkeiten erfahren können, die gemeinsamen Klangerfahrungen innewohnen. Dabei sollen neue Perspektiven auf die zeitgenössische Klangästhetik eröffnet werden.
